It will include the Carrabelle Riverfront Festival's signature Fishy Fashion show, live music, local arts and crafts vendors, festival food and more. Hooray!!!

If you have any questions about the effort moving forward or if you would like to participate or contribute to the effort please contact the Chamber of Commerce.

All inquiries (except vendors / exhibitors), should contact the Chamber of Commerce directly @ 850-697-2585 or chamber@nettallly.com or find info at www.carrabelle.org.

If you are an arts and crafts vendor or non-profit organization interested in participating in the upcoming event on Saturday, April 27, you may contact Lisa Keith-Lucas at lkeithlucas@gmail.com or by phone at 931-636-2145.

The Carrabelle community regrets that the 29th Annual Carrabelle Riverfront Festival scheduled to occur on Friday, April 26 from 4 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m along the beautiful Carrabelle Harbor and Downtown Carrabelle has been CANCELLED.  This is due to unforeseen circumstances and external competing events.

Coming off of a banner year in 2018, this year we were not able to field adequate participation from our regional arts and crafts vendors. The arts and crafts vendors are a vital part of the event.

Early in 2019, the Forgotten Coast Cruisers show was also cancelled from a lack of participation.  This was in large part due to the impact of Hurricane Michael in recruitment and participation.  Likewise, some of our vendors may have been impacted by the 2018 storm. We hope they recover and are able to continue sharing their talents and wares with the region.

In addition, a larger event in a nearby metropolitan area was permanently rescheduled for the 4th weekend in April.

The impact of these unforeseen events and circumstances resulted in a critical shortage of participants to make a viable show in 2019.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our visitors and participants.

The Carrabelle community invites you to visit our community that weekend as there will be many activities and happenings in Franklin County.  We are open for business and our shops, galleries, restaurants and tourist attractions are fully operational and open for our guests from far and wide.

Every attempt was made by the festival leadership to resolve the shortfall, but unfortunately, it remains  clear that forces beyond our control made the shortfall too difficult to overcome.

Decisions about the festival's future have not been determined at this time.  At the very least, future festivals will have to be moved from the fourth weekend in April to another date that does not compete with our friends and neighbors in the region.  STAY TUNED!

Fishy Fashion Show

This signature festival event features the “Dos and Do Knots” of coastal couture and annually delights the crowds that gather around the main stage to take in the latest “Surf-n-Turf” stylings.  Fishy Fashion Show fashionista, Joan Matey, and models always delight during this very unique showcase event.

Don’t get caught flat-footed or washed-up wearing last year’s formal or casual attires, the Fishy Fashion Show is the prime place to find the latest in apparels and accessories for the modern and hip forgotten coaster.

Riverfront Festival Caters to Our Elders

Golf Cart Shuttle Service

This year there will be a free golf cart shuttle service throughout the Festival that will be devoted to helping folks who find it hard to walk a long way move through the festival easily.  It will make continuous rounds from the Carrabelle CARES’ host tent at the intersection of US 98 and Marine Street down through the whole Festival to the Wharf Pavilion at the other end of Marine Street.  Franklin County Emergengy Management, Weems Hospital and the First Responders will offer shady rest areas and a "boo-boo" station along the way where the shuttle will stop.

Special Close Parking for Disabled People

Two special parking areas for individuals with disability tags will be provided this year on Avenue B between the Hometown Marathon and the Georgian Motel and on the east end of Avenue C between Third Street and Marine Street close to the George Sands Park.  You can call 850-697-2141 on the days of the festival for more information.

Schedule of Activities: To be posted soon!
